HW 38 - What are configuration variables in Open Firmware? (15-February-99)

Q: What are configuration variables in Open Firmware?

A: Configuration Variables are variables that affect Open Firmware behavior in a predetermined way. They are persistent across a power-off of the computer, and therefore must be stored in persistent memory.
